“My Partner Is Awful at Communication” (You’re not alone!)

A client of mine shared this quote from her boyfriend that blew me away:

“You can overcome your partner not being a great communicator by being an exceptional one yourself.”

I love how it sums up so much of what I teach and what I believe is true when it comes to healthy relationships.

Like I mentioned in a recent blog post, the annoying but true thing is: someone always has to take the leadership role in a relationship.

If you find yourself complaining about your partner’s lack of skills in the communication department, it might be time for you to step up and be the one to communicate the issues at hand.

(Easier said than done, of course, which is why I have a course dedicated to teaching these skills!)

I’m curious to know -

Do you feel like you’re always the one to step up and take leadership in your relationship? If so, how do you feel about it?

Comment below - I’d LOVE to hear from you, and who knows, your question could make it into a future post, answered by yours truly ;)

To making it work,

Andrea
