2 PM questions

Following my last post on simplifying the “What’s for dinner?” question, I wanted to follow the trend this month on quick and simple ways to help your weeks feel more manageable.

I’ve learned from my own marriage and the hundreds of others I’ve worked with in my therapy sessions that simplifying daily/weekly/monthly tasks can reduce stress, limit decision fatigue, and keep both partners happier, which trickles into the relationship and family dynamics.

So this week, I’m sharing: 2 PM QUESTIONS.

Every day at 2 pm, the sort of midway point of the day for me, I pause in between my client sessions and other tasks, and I ask myself 4 questions

  1. What have I done today?

  2. What did I want to complete?

  3. What am I going to finish?

  4. What am I going to do tomorrow?

And from that point, I update my to-do list and keep moving through the day.

Give it a try yourself, and let me know how it goes.
